RULES :

 

Team Composition:

  •  Each team consists of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 players.
  • Players must be current students of the college.

Match Format:

  • Matches are played on a futsal court with a standard futsal ball.
  • The game consists of two halves, each lasting 6/6 minutes.
  • There is a 2-minute halftime break.
  • Teams switch ends at halftime.

Substitutions:

  • Substitutions can be made at any time during the match.
  • Substituted players must enter and exit the field at the designated substitution area.

Offsides:

  • There are no offsides in futsal.

Fouls and Misconduct:

  • Fouls are penalized with free kicks.
  • Players committing serious fouls or acts of unsportsmanlike conduct may receive yellow cards (cautions) or red cards (ejections) at the discretion of the referee.
  • A player who receives two yellow cards in a match will be shown a red card and ejected from the game.

Referee Decisions:

  • The referee's decisions regarding gameplay, fouls, goals, and other matters are final and must be respected by all participants.

Standings and Advancement:

  •   The tournament will have group stages followed by knockout rounds.
  • Teams earn points based on match results (e.g., 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss).
  • The top teams from the group stage advance to the knockout rounds based on their standings.

Fair Play:

  • Participants are expected to display good sportsmanship and fair play throughout the tournament.
  • Any form of verbal or physical abuse, harassment, or unsporting behavior may result in penalties or disqualification.

NOTE : TEAMS UNABLE TO ARRIVE IN TIME WILL BE WALKOVERED.
